Since the advent of democracy in our nation, the American church has largely adopted a democratic style of leadership.  The shift toward democratic leadership offers protection form power-hungry or out-of-control pastors.  But with that protection comes another set of problems: divisive committees or ineffective boards.  So we face a dilemma within the church: what style of leadershp is best?  In A Biblical Model of Church Decision Making, Daniel Nehrbass addresses this issue and provides Scriptural guidelines for church governance, decision making, and leadership.

Daniel Nehrbass is the president of Nightlight Christian Adoptions.  He has worked as a pastor and an adjunct professor of biblical studies at Biola University.  Dan earned a Ph.D. in Practical Theology from Fuller Seminary, and holds three Masters degrees: in Theology, Divinity, and Ministry.  He lives with his wife and five children in Santa Ana, CA.
